WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Wizards invite all local ballers to participate in the teams’ all-new 3v3 tournament hosted by Hoop It Up. The tournament tips off on Saturday, October 5, at Barry Farm Recreation Center in Southeast D.C.

The Wizards’ Hoop It Up 3v3 tournament is open to both men and women’s teams of all skill levels, including Pro-Am. Teams, consisting of three to five players (Pro-Am teams can have a maximum of four players), will be split into three different age groups: youth (ages 10-18), adult 19+, and adult 40+. Divisions include boys and girls U10, U12, U14, U18, men's and women's 19+, men's 40+, and men's and women's Pro-Am.

All teams will be guaranteed at least four scheduled games and the first team in each game to 21 points wins that game. The tournament will begin with pool play within each division and based off a team’s record (including other qualifying factors), teams may advance to a single-elimination playoff within each division.

Hoop It Up will award the first-place team a plaque. The Wizards will also award prizes to divisional winners.

Team registration is $202 which includes a Wizards branded 3v3 t-shirt and one ticket per team member to the event. All participants will also receive a ticket to a future Wizards home game during the 2024-25 season. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation (MSEF).
