Wilson Basketball to Become the Official Game Ball of Hoop It Up

CHICAGO, June 15, 2021 — Hoop It Up, the iconic 3x3 basketball tour owned by NBA legend Kevin Garnett, and Wilson Sporting Goods Co. announced a partnership today that will make Wilson the official game ball of Hoop It Up effective immediately.

The Wilson FIBA 3x3 game ball will be the exclusive ball for all Hoop It Up championships including the Hoop It Up Pro Am League which debuts this year.

“This partnership with Wilson allows Hoop It Up participants to play with the same Wilson FIBA 3x3 ball as other FIBA sanctioned events, including the Olympics. We are truly excited about this partnership,” said George Daniel, CEO of Kevin Garnett’s Big Ticket Sports LLC.

Last month, Hoop It Up announced a sanctioning agreement with FIBA which included an automatic berth for the Hoop It Up champion to compete in a FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters featuring the best 3x3 teams in the World. In addition, teams and players registered for the Hoop It Up Pro-Am will be earning FIBA 3x3 ranking points which can help the U.S. and Canada climb up the FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking to qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup and the Olympic Games.
