Salt Lake City Summer League 3v3 Tournament Returns, Public Registration Now Open
All Ages, Skill Levels to Compete at Park Place on July 6
SALT LAKE CITY (May 11, 2022) — Registration is now open for the public 3v3 tournament in downtown Salt Lake City as part of the 2022 Salt Lake City Summer League. Games will take place on 30 blacktop courts at Park Place adjacent to Vivint Arena on Wednesday, July 6.
The Salt Lake City Summer League 3v3 Tournament offers opportunities in 35 different recreational and competitive divisions, including boys and girls from ages 7-18 and men’s and women’s age 19+ categories from six-foot and under to elite teams.
Team signups are now available at SLC Summer League 3v3 Registration. The registration fee is $150 per team for 3-5 players.
Registration includes three games plus entry into a single elimination tournament along with a T-shirt and tickets to Day 2 of the Salt Lake City Summer League on July 6.
The winning teams in each division will receive a trophy, tickets to a Utah Jazz game in October or November at Vivint Arena and automatic entry into the Hoop It Up National Championship in Tempe, Ariz., in October.
Tournament check-in will begin at 8 a.m. with competition beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing throughout the day. Food and beverage vendors will be available on site.
“The Salt Lake City Summer League 3v3 tournament aligns perfectly with the core of the Utah Jazz youth programs in encouraging people, regardless of age and ability, to participate and improve their skills,” said program director Nate Martinez. “Summer league is a fun atmosphere to celebrate the game and a unique opportunity to be a fan and a player.”
The 2022 Salt Lake City Summer League presented by America First Credit Union, a six-game, four-team round-robin summer showcase, will be held July 5-7 at Vivint Arena and will feature the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Philadelphia 76ers summer league teams.
The Salt Lake City Summer League features rookies, sophomore players, select free agents and other potential NBA athletes competing to make NBA and NBA G League regular season rosters.
